8MS provides a default number of lines for all terminations used in the CAD and CPR of a toll free number. This value can be overridden per termination for a specific toll free number in Record Management.

The Termination Defaults screen allows you to override the 8MS default value for all terminations. To access this screen, select the Termination Defaults link located in the System Activity section of the menu. The following will appear in the top frame of the screen:

The initial default value used is what SMS/800 uses as it's default: 9999. When this screen is brought up for the first time, both the Pots # of Lines and Toll Free # of Lines text fields will be set to the 8MS default. To change either of these defaults to another value, type the new value in the appropriate text field and select the button. To revert back to the original 8MS value, select the button.
